How can the economy and society be changed sustainably? How can the economy and sustainability be considered together? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An entrepreneurial spirit and a creative mindset<\/strong> are not only in demand against the backdrop of the rapidly developing economic world, but are also essential for economic progress, especially in the development of sustainable ideas<\/strong>. In the Entrepreneurship and Innovation degree course, we therefore understand entrepreneurship (“entrepreneurial action and thinking”) primarily as future-relevant skills for recognizing problems and challenges, developing sustainable solutions and implementing them. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In the various project-oriented modules, such as the Ideenwerkstatt,<\/strong> you will learn how to apply the different forms of entrepreneurship. You will actively shape the entire innovation process in different contexts, e.g. in emerging and established companies and in society. The degree program is divided into the acquisition of specialist and methodological skills from the field of business administration, such as production, controlling, business informatics and HR, and areas of expertise such as entrepreneurial leadership, entrepreneurial and start-up performance and sustainable entrepreneurship<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The aim of the degree program is to provide you with a general entrepreneurial understanding as well as entrepreneurship as a key competence and future skill<\/strong> during the course of your studies. This will lay the foundation for a career in exciting areas of work such as start-ups, intrapreneurship or consulting in the field of strategy and innovation. <\/p>\n\n

Entrepreneurship in the PFH study program<\/h2>\n\n

\n

Entrepreneurship is firmly anchored in the teaching and degree programs of the campus and distance learning courses. Entrepreneurship is a cross-sectional business subject <\/strong>and therefore universally applicable, as it covers the entire life cycle of a company. The thematic spectrum ranges from founding to growth, from managing a family business to company succession, regardless of the business model. The course offers young entrepreneurs the best conditions to prepare them for future entrepreneurial challenges. It sets the course for a variety of career options by qualifying students for a broad spectrum of future fields of employment. In any case, it is predestined for “innovative” minds. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Courses on entrepreneurship are systematically included in all Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs(Management\/Business Administration<\/strong> and Psychology\/Business Psychology<\/strong>). Building on a basic course on start-up management, students can choose a corresponding focus on sustainable entrepreneurship<\/strong> in the respective degree programs. <\/p>\n\n

Entrepreneurship in business administration and business psychology studies<\/h2>\n\n

Entrepreneurship is available as a specialization in the third or fifth semester of<\/strong> the Bachelor’s degree course in General Management. The Entrepreneurship specialization in the Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration covers the subject area even more comprehensively. In the third and fifth semesters, students take modules that focus on entrepreneurship and the associated development of entrepreneurial skills in the life cycle of an emerging and\/or established company. Entrepreneurship courses can also be taken in other degree programs or are firmly scheduled. <\/p>\n\n

The Master’s in General Management offers the in-depth Entrepreneurship module, which includes courses on SME management, innovation management and corporate succession. In this way, the curriculum does justice to the complexity and diversity of entrepreneurial fields of action. The special perspective of family businesses and their challenges are also included. <\/p>\n\n

Entrepreneurship as a focus in distance learning<\/h2>\n\n

The PFH offers the function-oriented Entrepreneurship specialization in the Bachelor’s distance learning course in Business Administration and in all three Master’s distance learning courses – Business Administration, Advanced Management, MBA. It provides a systematic overview of the fundamental aspects of founding, establishing and growing emerging companies. The international perspective of entrepreneurship is also examined. The Bachelor’s and Master’s degree courses in business psychology also cover relevant aspects. <\/p>\n\n
