Entrepreneurship for children – soon with us too!

Introduction

Children as entrepreneurs? Yes, that’s possible! With the Changemaker program, which is already established in Austria, we promote entrepreneurial thinking and action at primary school age. Children between the ages of 8 and 10 develop their own product ideas, implement them creatively – and set up real mini-companies.

Accompanied by students and supported by a structured program, the children playfully experience what it means to take responsibility, work in a team and turn their own ideas into reality.

Why Changemaker?

Practice makes perfect: Entrepreneurship starts in the mind – and ideally as early as possible.

Creativity meets reality: from the idea to the sale – children experience the entire start-up process.

Strengthen self-efficacy: Those who experience early on that their own ideas count go through life with more courage.

Soon also at the PFH

The ZE Center for Entrepreneurship plans to establish the Changemaker Program at the PFH – as an integral part of our educational formats for schools in the southern Lower Saxony region. We are delighted to be the first international partners of the Changemaker Program!

Start: expected in the 2025/26 school year

Target group: Primary schools in and around Göttingen

We look forward to welcoming committed partner schools, teachers and supporters who want to join us in bringing an entrepreneurial spirit into the classroom.

Program procedure

The Changemaker program comprises several phases in which the children are introduced to entrepreneurship step by step. From idea generation to product development and sales – each phase is designed to strengthen the children’s creativity and self-confidence.
