Ideencampus South Lower Saxony –

The workshop program for school projects

Ideencampus 2024: November 8 and 15 – register now!

The Ideencampus Südniedersachsen calls on pupils from the region to find, develop and implement creative project ideas. All projects that have an entrepreneurial, social, regional or community-supporting character in the broadest sense are welcome.

So whether it’s the development of an app, an energy-saving project for the school or a charity campaign for the disadvantaged, whether the project group wants to earn money with the idea or save the world: At the Ideencampus Südniedersachsen, pupils will find the right support.

They are given the time, space and know-how of experts who work with them on the concretization of the idea, concept development, project management and implementation. Participants can also gain specialist knowledge about financing, marketing, public relations or production. It is also expressly desired that the groups exchange ideas with each other.

… have an idea that they have always wanted to realize, but don’t know exactly how to go about it.

… have a more developed idea or have already started the project. But they lack specialist knowledge, money or an expert to help them solve an implementation problem.

… are interested in the topic but do not yet have a brilliant idea that they want to implement. Together with professors, students and other project groups, the pupils help themselves to develop an idea.

How can I participate?

Pupils aged 16 and over from southern Lower Saxony can take part, either individually or in groups. The number of participants is limited to 50 pupils at a time.

Application: An outline of the idea (project idea, founding team and motivation) must be submitted in written form on 1-2 A4 pages. Further information in the flyer.

Selection criteria for participation: degree of innovation/creativity, sustainability (ecological, social and economic aspects), opportunity for implementation and economic viability.

Is there anything to win?

The vast majority of competitions, business games and innovation awards produce a few winners – and many more losers. However, it is important to us as organizers to promote as many ideas as possible for as long as possible and to continue to support them until they are implemented. That’s why there is no jackpot and no big prizes. However, we will award prizes to the most creative, promising and committed projects on the last of the workshop days.

And – there is the main prize for every team: seeing their own project grow and developing themselves in the process!

When and where will the Ideencampus 2024 take place?

The preliminary workshop for groups that have not yet developed their own idea will take place on Friday, 20.9.2024 at the PFH Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen.
The main workshop will take place on 8 and 15.11. 2024 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the PFH Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen.

“The earlier and more playfully the impulse for innovation orientation is set, the better. That’s why the idea of entrepreneurship and taking responsibility for one’s own future should be firmly anchored in young people’s minds at school, also for the benefit of the region. For us, the aim is not so much to mature viable business plans at the Ideencampus. Rather, we want to sensitize young people to independently pursue their own projects that result in solutions for their relevant problems. And in this ideas and future workshop, we want to show them how they can develop their ideas themselves and where they can find support for this.
