Sustainable lightweight construction for the mobility of the future

reFrame

The ERDF project reFrame (Recycled Fiber Reinforcements for Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering, Guideline 2.2.3, Innovation Networks) in sub-project 4, carried out by the ZE Center for Entrepreneurship at the PFH Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen, Hansecampus Stade, serves the purpose of cross-industry network activation, transfer and qualification in the innovation ecosystem.

The reFrame project is a research and transfer project for the development and implementation of fiber-reinforced plastics in mobility applications, which contribute to the reduction of fuel consumption and CO2 emissions due to their low weight.

The research results from the research and development activities of the university network (University of Hanover, TU Braunschweig, TU Clausthal) are to be transferred into innovations through information, creative, interaction and qualification formats with regional players and companies and thus serve as the basis for an innovation ecosystem to be developed.

Project manager (sub-project 4): Prof. Dr. Bernhard H. Vollmar

Funded by: European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the State of Lower Saxony

Duration: 2024-2027
