Networking creates innovation

The Southern Lower Saxony Innovation Campus (SNIC)

The SüdNiedersachsenInnovationsCampus (SNIC) is a cooperation and networking project that links business and research in southern Lower Saxony and brings them together with local authorities and chambers. This promotes the transfer of innovations from universities to companies, strengthens the start-up ecosystem and qualifies skilled workers.

The SNIC is funded by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour, Transport and Digitalization, the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture and the Volkswagen Foundation. The PFH Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen is involved in the project with the SNIC Innovation Academy and SNIC Crowdfunding Consulting, among others.

An essential basis and breeding ground for a lively innovation and start-up culture at the universities and the entire region of southern Lower Saxony is a systematic, sustainable range of courses for innovation and start-up qualification. The SNIC Innovation Academy is dedicated to this task. It forms the framework for a series of needs-based qualification formats for innovation, entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship education, which links and complements the existing offerings of the universities. The program of measures focuses on innovation learning in order to meet regional educational needs. The spectrum ranges from special events, lecture series, a certificate course with interlinked (part-time) degree courses to a possible doctoral program in the field of innovation.

The program is aimed at students, alumni and academics as well as specialists and managers from regional companies.

Based on years of experience from research and consulting practice, the ZE Center for Entrepreneurship offers project initiators and companies in southern Lower Saxony a free range of information, support and assistance in the area of crowd funding.
